Joining UL Online Training Sessions

Before you join a session

  1. Make sure you are in a secluded/Isolated location
  2. Make sure you have a pen and paper to take notes
  3. If you have a laptop, you can use your phone to join the session and use the Laptop to do “hands-on” activities that might recommended by the presenter.
  4. Know that you can attend ALL sessions if you choose
  5. DO NOT Share the ID and Password with ANYONE who is not part of the University Community

Joining a Session

  1. Open Zoom
  2. Click on Join Session (Make sure your video and audio are enabled)
  3. Enter the ID and Password (we’ll use the same ID and Password for ALL sessions, until otherwise informed).

When you join the session

  1. Mute your Microphone (when the session starts)
  2. Use the RAISE HAND option if or when you have a question
  3. Unless the presenter says otherwise, please allow the presenter to finish before asking a question(s).
  4. Use the CHATROOM to make comments, ask questions, etc
  5. If your connection is bad, PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR VIDEO
